Anyone get pregnant Naturally with partially block fallopian tubes?

Posted by Get Pregnant on May 12th, 2010

The Dr. just informed me that when they did the dye test my tubes were block but were unblock partially. He gave me two months to try and get pregnant naturally. Then we will move to fertility drugs. And if all fails, I will have to have open abdominal surgery to try and clean up the rest of my endometriosis because it’s so severe. Is there any hope for me because I really do not want to go through another operation.

There is definitely hope. The surgery is a worst case scenario, and if you truly want children it is worth it.

But I thought you loved me

All your friends are doing it so why not you

It may well be in you and your unborn baby’s best welfare to call into a family planning centre/clinic, Yes it may seem like it is too late to speak to these people “now” but nonetheless not too late to easy matters and know what lies ahead. British statistics on STIs are based on analysis at genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinics.

UK research showed 10.8% of males and 12.6 % of females aged 16-44 were treated for sexually transmitted infections.

Over twelve months ago a report stated, 397,990 new sexually transmitted infection diagnoses at GUM clinics in Great Britain showed an increase of 63% in 1998.

There was a 6% rise between 2006 and 2007. A little number maybe, but a number nonetheless with huge affect.

The Genital Chlamydia infection scarily rose the highest in numbers. Between 1998 and 2007 genital Chlamydia increased by 150%, genital herpes by 51%and syphilis by 1,828%.

Gonorrhea

The male can differ from the female if they have this disease (no symptoms.) Nevertheless in them that do have symptoms they normally appear 2 to 5 days after infection. Discomfort includes a burning sensation when peeing, or a white, yellow, or green discharge from the penis. Gonorrhea can cause painful or swollen testicles. For women the symptoms can be easily confused with a bladder or vaginal infection. Typical signs include pain and burning feel when weeing, increased vaginal discharge, or vaginal bleeding between periods. Women with gonorrhea are at risk of developing serious complications from the infection. Symptoms of rectal infection in both genders may include discharge, anal itching, soreness, bleeding, or painful bowel movements.

Genital warts

If you are infected then you can expect to see pinkish/white small lumps or clustered cauliflower-shaped lumps around the genitals. Remember not to panic till your condition has been determined by a GP as you may well be worrying over little or nothing. Warts are known to form on or around the penis, the scrotum, the thighs or the anus. Female genital warts usually grow around the vulva or inside the vagina and on the cervix. If a woman has warts on her cervix, this can cause slight bleeding or, less commonly show, an unusual colored vaginal discharge. Although not a regular known condition for pain, it however brings itch.

Genital herpes

Symptoms usually appear 2 to 7 days after exposure and last 2 to 4 weeks. Both sexes can have one or more symptoms, including:

Itchiness or tingling around the genitals including the anus.

Small fluid-filled blisters and when burst leaves painful sores.

Pain when urine stream oozes over open sores.

Headaches.

Lower backache.

Swollen glands or fever.

You have to be careful if you find you carry both baby and an infection. STDs can cause cervical and other cancers, chronic hepatitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, infertility, and other complications. Genital infections can be passed from a pregnant woman to the baby before, during, or after the baby’s birth. Some STDs (like syphilis) cross the placenta and infect the baby while it is in the uterus (womb). Other STDs (like gonorrhea, chlamydia, hepatitis B, and genital herpes) can be transmitted from the mother to the baby during delivery as the baby passes through the birth canal. These are frightening issues, however not as scary as bringing up a baby alone.

Am I too thin to get pregnant?

Posted by Get Pregnant on May 4th, 2010

I’m 5′6 and weigh 113. I’m ovulating so that means I’m not too thin, right?

It’s possible. Your BMI is 18.2 indicating that you are a bit underweight. Are you ovulating on time or are you late? If you are late you may try and gain a little weight and see if that helps. Also, women who are underweight have reduced hormone levels making conception more difficult, irregular periods, and a higher risk of miscarriage. When I started TTC my BMI was 18 and I was advised to gain some weight. I did so by drinking lots of orange juice, eating oatmeal, and peanuts at night.

Good luck!

When Can You Get Pregnant?

Posted by Get Pregnant on April 21st, 2010

If you are planning to get pregnant in the near future, you may be wondering when exactly it is that you can get pregnant. If you happen to be contemplating these issues, you are definitely on the right track to pregnancy! Let us discuss the biology of the female body in greater detail so as to understand when exactly you can get pregnant.

After the age of puberty, a typical woman has a month-long menstrual cycle. The main explicit visible sign of the aforementioned monthly cycle is the presence of menstruation, but this is far from all that happens inside your body. You can get pregnant as soon as you have started experiencing this monthly pattern.

During each monthly cycle, your body will, subtly and carefully, build a lining of blood vessels and nutrients in your uterus. This is a careful introductory preparation for the time when you actually do get pregnant. Your body does not know when that will happen, so it prepares thoroughly and consistently each and every month.

In all probabilities, you can get pregnant when the lining of the uterus is ready. It is precisely at this point that your ovaries release an egg into your uterus. This is the right time for you to get pregnant since everything is perfectly aligned. Should you have an intercourse at this time in your monthly cycle, you would stand a good chance of getting pregnant. This stage is called “ovulation” during which the egg is being released into your uterus.

If you don’t get pregnant during your ovulation stage, the egg eventually dies and the lining of your uterus becomes too old. At this point, your body sheds the lining and the egg in order to start all over again. This stage is called menstruation, during which you notice blood coming to the outside. You typically cannot get pregnant at this point of your monthly cycle. You will have to wait for the next ovulation period to take place.

This pattern is repeated over and over again during the childbearing years until you become pregnant or reach the menopause. When you get pregnant, the lining in you uterus is not lost, but rather grows with the baby turning into placenta, which nourishes the baby for nine months.

When you eventually reach menopause, you can no longer get pregnant owing to the fact that eggs are not being released anymore. Additionally, the monthly lining is not being prepared any further.

The best way to know for sure when exactly you can get pregnant is to pay attention to your monthly cycle. Knowing your ovulation is all the information you will ever need in order to know when you can get pregnant.

Is it normal to worry about whether I even can get pregnant?

Posted by Get Pregnant on April 13th, 2010

My Husband and I aren’t TTC, but I get scared that maybe I won’t be able to get pregnant when we start trying.

I have somewhat normal but yet irregular periods (they always come, but anywhere from 24-32 days apart) that started at age 12.

He and I were not too careful once or twice, and I didn’t get pregnant. So I get scared.

Some little part of me wishes I was one of those "super fertile" people.

I am sure everything is fine. I wasn’t a super fertile person till after my 1st child. We tried for 3 1/2 years to get pregnant. Then my doctor said that once you have been pregnant and carried to term it is easy for you to get pregnant again since your body "knows" what it is doing. Well after my first was 1 1/2 we decided we wanted to try again, we never thought in our wildest dreams that our first try would get us pregnant!! Then with my 3rd and 4th there was no trying needed, it just happened!!

when are the best days to get pregnant after your period?

Posted by Get Pregnant on April 6th, 2010

i have been trying to get pregnant.
but i never seem to be. i went to the doctor the other day because i thought i was pregnant because
i hadn’t gotten my period in two months. turns out i started being irregular again which really brought me down. when are the best days to get pregnant after your period though?

You should try having sex every 2-3 days to insure there is always sperm waiting for the egg when it comes. You might ovulate 2 weeks later, you might be like me and ovulate 6 weeks later…haha…I wouldn’t wish that on anyone though.
